Based on the Old Style of Ryukyu Karamiti, Shorinjiryu TiiJutsu is A combination of All Okinawa fighting styles of Tomari-te, Naha-te and Shuri-te. The sole aim of Shorinjiryu TiiJutsu is to bring A speedy and conclusive end to violent confrontations. There are no wasted movements or unnecessary techniques in TiiJutsu repaetoire. Unlike modern styles of Karate-do, (emphasis on Kihon, Kata, Jiyu Kumite), Okinawa TiiJutsu relies heavily on training methods, conditioning and repetition.
Shorinjiryu TiiJutsu is A striking method, with equal practice and time dedicated to joint manipulation, take downs and weapon's practice. TiiJutsu is heavily influenced by Chinese White Crane Kenpo systems and combines speed and power to overcome an assailant regardless of size and temperament.
