Chinese Kenpo Kai is a modern self defense system created in Hawaii but descended from ancient combat systems.

Chinese Kenpo Kai evolved from earlier arts including Chinese Chuan fa, Kosho Ryu Kenpo jujitsu, Kara Ho Chinese Kempo, Kajukenbo, Karazenpo Go Shin Jutsu and Chinese Kenpo Karate.

The system utilizes all aspects and ranges of fighting incorporatiing principles from Kyokushin, Tang Soo Do and Shotokan karate, Danzan Ryu Judo and Jujitsu, Aikijutsu, Sim Lum and Choy li fut kung fu, boxing, Escrima and Kenpo, along with advanced law enforcement and military combatives.

The system is ever evolving adding and deleting techniques as needed and is geared towards personal self defense, physical fitness and personal development striving to unify the Mind, Body and Spirit as one.

The name honors the foundation and principles of the system.

Chinese acknowledging the Chuan fa/kung fu heritage.

Kenpo acknowledging the Japanese heritage.

Kai honoring the Chinese, Japanese and Ancient Greek influences.

In Chinese Kai means never ending, in Japanese as a gathering and in Greek as "and" meaning the style is a gathering seeking never ending knowledge and willing to utilize whatever works.

Chinese Kenpo Ka-Ju Kai is a modern martial art descended from traditional Chinese, Japanese, European and Filipino combat systems.

A mixed martial art created by various Masters through their study and application of principles and concepts of various forms of martial arts including; Sim Lum Pai and Choy Li Fut Kung Fu. Japanese Jujitsu, Aiki-jujutsu, Aikido, Danzan Ryu Jujitsu. Shotokan, Kyokushin Kai and Korean karate. Escrima and Western boxing merged together as a flowing offensive and defensive, hard/soft system that incorporates internal and external aplications.

The style is descended from Hawaiian created martial arts of Chinese Kenpo, Kajukenbo and Karazenpo Go shinjutsu.
